ASD works with key partners in Europe and internationally to coordinate positions on issues affecting the aerospace, security, and defence sectors. By working together with national associations, international associations, and cross-industry partners, we ensure that the European aerospace, security, and defence industries remain at the forefront of global innovation.
Industry partnerships
ASD amplifies its influence and collaboration across Europe and globally by working with other major aviation industry associations on shared priorities. ASD plays a key role in initiatives like Destination 2050, supporting the industry’s journey toward net-zero carbon emissions. Partner associations include: the US Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), Airports Council International Europe, European Regions Airline Association, and Airlines for Europe (A4E).
ICCAIA
The International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations (ICCAIA) is the international organisation for aerospace industry associations.
ASD currently holds the Chair of the ICCAIA, which rotates every two years between ASD and the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) of the United States, reflecting the transatlantic partnership at the heart of the global aerospace industry.
