ASD's Civil Aviation Business Unit (CABU) focuses on shaping policies and strategies that enhance the competitive position of the European aerospace industry. CABU identifies key civil aviation issues, develops unified positions, and advocates on these to regulators, institutions, and stakeholders at national, EU, and global levels. It also coordinates ASD’s engagement with key civil aviation bodies like the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE).
