Civil Aviation Cybersecurity Committee
The ASD Civil Aviation Cybersecurity Committee (CACS) represents the cybersecurity interests of ASD members in civil aviation. CACS advocates for EU and EASA regulations that are effective and efficient, aiming to simplify compliance processes for cybersecurity in the industry. It works to ensure that safety requirements are appropriate to the level of cybersecurity needed and that European industry is treated equitably compared to global competitors. CACS also promotes alignment of EU cybersecurity regulations with international standards, fostering harmonisation across major global organisations.
