Advancing aviation standards: ASD at EUROCAE Symposium

Our Civil Aviation Director, Vincent de Vroey, attended the EUROCAE Symposium being held at KKL Luzern on 24-25 April, where industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders came together to discuss the latest advancements and upcoming prospects within the aviation domain.

Founded in 1963, EUROCAE is an international non-profit organisation that brings together experts from across the aviation industry to develop and promote high-quality standards for civil aviation systems and equipment. These standards support international harmonisation and global interoperability and significantly contribute to the safety, efficiency and environmental sustainability of the global aviation system.

In a parallel to the Symposium, ASD received the honour of being reconfirmed as a Council member of EUROCAE, with Vincent de Vroey representing ASD's interests as the Council member.

ASD's active membership and key role in the EUROCAE governance body underscores our commitment to fostering a more efficient aerospace standardisation landscape in Europe.
