Antonov joins ASD as new member

ASD has welcomed Antonov, Ukraine’s largest aircraft manufacturing and services company, as a new direct member company. The new membership took effect on 3 October 2023. 

With this, ASD now has 23 direct member companies and 23 member associations from 19 European countries.

ASD Secretary General, Jan Pie said:

I warmly welcome Antonov as a new ASD member, an important step towards the integration of the Ukrainian aerospace industry in the European industrial ecosystem. Antonov’s brand is known worldwide and has an exceptional reputation for its extensive expertise in the global aeronautics community. 

Their membership of ASD will further strengthen ASD as the single common voice for the European industry.

Ukraine is already closely associated with the rest of Europe through its membership of Eurocontrol, the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) and its association agreement with the European Union.

ASD is a member of the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations (ICCAIA). Through its membership at ASD, Antonov will have the opportunity to contribute to the long-standing ICCAIA work supporting ICAO in developing international standards and regulations crucial for the safety and security of air transport.
