ASD leaders met with the European Commissioner for Defence and Space to discuss EU defence initiatives and strengthening European defence industrial capacities
On 16 January, ASD President and Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury and ASD Vice-Chairman of the Board and Saab CEO Michael Johansson met with Andrius Kubilius, European Commissioner for Defence and Space. The discussion focused on EU defence initiatives and strategies to strengthen European defence industrial capacities.
The meeting reflects ASD's commitment to fostering dialogue between industry leaders and policymakers to enhance Europe's strategic autonomy and industrial resilience.
