ASD welcomed the publication of the new European Plan for Aviation Safety by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The 13th edition of the EASA European Plan for Aviation Safety outlines the strategic priorities, safety risks, and mitigation actions for the European aviation system, and covers topics such as AI, higher airspace operations, and cyber security. The Plan is a key component of the European Aviation Safety Programme, and supports the goals and objectives of the International Civil Aviation Organization Global Aviation Safety Plan.
ASD, along with other aviation associations have been consulted on the European Plan for Aviation Safety through participation in the EASA Stakeholder Advisory Body (SAB).
