Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association joins ASD as new member

I'm very pleased to welcome LDSIA to the ASD family, our first member from the Baltic region which is a true hub for innovation in our sectors.

The Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) welcomes, after approval by the ASD Board, the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA) as a new member. LDSIA’s membership took effect on 29 February 2024.

With this, ASD now has 49 members, including 24 associations representing more than 4,000 companies in 20 European countries.

LDSIA, founded in 2014, unites and represents 100 Lithuanian and foreign business enterprises operating in defence and security in the country.

Jan Pie, ASD Secretary General, said:

LDSIA’s contributions will further enhance ASD's impact and relevance as the single voice for the European aerospace, security, and defence industries in Brussels and beyond.”

Vaidas Sabaliauskas, CEO of LDSIA, said:
