Guide on Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products) (SCIP)
This ASD guide is for companies in the aerospace and defence sector and their suppliers globally. It wants to inform especially company managers, project leaders and SMEs about the reporting requirements and corresponding database of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) for Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products) (SCIP) following Article 9(1)(i) and (2) of the EU Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/EC (WFD), as revised in 2018 and transposed in national laws, by giving a first access to the topic with specific regard to aerospace and defence products.
